Okay let me be straight up brutally honest here, HELL NO. I don't know about everyone else, but I worked hard for all of my things. Plus i'm a hoarder, just that simple. I understand wanting to level everyone to the same plane again, but we all worked long hard hours for our credits and things.
Seriously, I can deal with the reset and such but this does not fly with me. What this is doing is signaling to the community to place all of your valuables on the ground and collect them again after the wipe. Unless you want to see realms and realms of placed crap and lots of angry vets, just let people keep their credits and things.
-Edit- IMO I am looking for some kind of system like this:
By limiting the number of realms a person can keep, you allow a very large majority of builds to be saved while still letting the map be refreshed. Additionally, you can even apply the system you were speaking of before here. For a low cost (like 1k) you could protect a 50x50 plot of land to be saved from a wipe. This would add to your 20 realm total to be protected.
The other option for the v5 system as-is is to start a new map, as seen here:

Personally, though, I'd prefer there to only be one map, and for existing structures to be in that map.
However, please note though this is definitely being proposed as the end of the map as it is today. People would be encouraged to start over in new areas, as they would in a new map, and to not cling onto old builds.
