......... I just found this post.
I've hired 11 different contacts to have you killed in any way they see fit. I told them to be creative.

Oh, I almost forgot.
RUN.
It's more interesting that way...

Edit: just realized how perfectly my avatar displays my hate for that song.

No no no. You're taking this song too seriously. There is no reason to hate it.

This song was created by a couple of Norwegians who call themselves 'Ylvis' to promote their TV show, in Norway. Have you ever heard of Ylvis before? Probably not, but most Norwegians probably have. They find it funny, because they get the context. You hate it because you are taking it seriously, out of context.

What I have posted below is a perfect example of this. What would a Norwegian think of this?

Is this a stupid song? Yes. Do you find it funny? Only if you know the context. Is it made by a serious musician for serious purposes? No. There is nothing wrong with disliking something, but when you hate something, you have to hate it for the right reasons.

I see your logic, but the video's popularity is out of context. It has become popular for the song itself, which is the part that I hate most. It may have a specific context, that's fine, but it should be popularized FOR THAT CONTEXT not some false assumption of what i sound like.
I live in Texas. The only thing people around here can get out of that kind of song is the title (taken literally) and stupid sounds that make you question their mental stability.
If I offend, I apologize. For I have taken a small offence from the thoughtless popularity the video receives.

You do not offend, in fact, quite the opposite. The very concept of a viral video is one that people will find intriguing in some particular way, otherwise it would not become viral. At the most basic level this song makes you think 'huh, I don't know the sound a fox makes' and then blasts you with sounds so ridiculous that one can only hope others will see that this as comedy.

The absurd nature of of this video is it's context to becoming viral. It is supposed to entertain (and promote a bit) the viewers, which it seems to have accomplished for the majority. I think this song has become viral for the right context, since it's context is for entertainment. The popularity of this is not pointless, rather the result of people's enjoyment of it. You may not like it and that's fine, but it has done exactly what it was supposed to do (and more), and you can't hate it for that.
