I can confirm. Terra Celestis did this on the last map, but the things were completely invincible.

Any spawner can spawn pigs if you get a high enough light level, and get grass, around and under the spawner and don't tell me it's not possible because me and cog have done it and watched it spawn pigs, invincible pigs albeit but still they were pigs.

We tried lava. I can say that the things are completely invulnerable to anything we can do to them..
