Recently a player has been admittedly bored and using invisibility to stalk an area where people hunt for wither skeletons.

Well, I hope they like my thorns enchanted diamond gear. And a flame-aspect, sharpness 3 sword.

As a pvper myself, I have to say no. also, isn't minerealm a supposed to be legit? In vannila minecraft if there was a player in the nether with you you would be able to kill/hit them.

I think people have various definitions of "Legit". As far as I know it has to do with items not being spawned in, rather than the vanillaness of the game.

Having said that, there are many aspects of server setup that are customizable on a pure vanilla Minecraft server from allowing a Nether at all, to allowing flight, to allowing pvp and more.

I fully support this idea.
I'd prefer if the nether's difficulty came from the monsters and the massive lava lakes in the nether rather than nether PvP-ers.

If we wanted to be legit we might as well make the overworld open pvp as well, remove the realm system and the random teleporter. No matter how you look at it, its not a 100% legit server. more like 90%. But that's just my point of view of it

I vote yes.

Why, because the main argument to keep pvp in the nether is irrelevant if it's disabled in the overworld!
PvP means player vs player not camper vs player, it's very easy to turn it on if you want to fight.

Either way it's been like that as long as I've been here so I can't see it changing any time soon.

What ticks people off is portal camping. I'm ok with PvP and all, but not portal camping. Just thought you would want to hear my opinion. Anyways, +1
