*Even though im not even on the server I'd like to help it out if i do play on it again*
And this, even with the polls is Intelli's choice since he will have to fund another server.

So if any vets remember a while back, around a year ago MineRealm was set to make a new server, it was official people were doing drop parties ECT. Ad Intelli's plan was to have two different servers, the brand new one and the old one on a second server. But the new map was later cancelled.

Recently theres been polls for a map wipe and the server is about even on wiping it ornot. With land, Resources, and even the thing in minecraft needs to make everything, wood, has been low. It would work just like Intelli's old old plan. Have two different servers with different but similar IP's.
( if someone can find the old thread where the map was going to get whipped please link it.)

And remember, All the new updates and new experiences will be available!

Pros:
New server ( duh )
Fresh land
Satisfy both groups since both maps will be open
All the new update stuff
And many more things to come

Cons:
Expensive/More money needed to fund
Ram (Will and if so how bad will this affect lag)
And some small pet peeves some people may have.

Although I would love to see the new and awesome things that 1.7 has to offer in MineRealm, I don't believe doing this is the answer. What you are suggesting is basically to spilt our already tiny and stained server into 2. One with the new map and another with the old. This would never work. It would be like MineRealm creative where only like 3 people were ever on and 2/3 of them were griefers. Not to mention all the old vets would probably just stay on the current MineRealm and all the new players would go to the new server. It would be a horribly awkward split.

Also, Intelli pays alot out of his own pocket already for our current server, having 2 servers isn't going to help that.

Personally I still think a full map wipe on our current map is the best option, but since that suggestion has been rejected, we can still find another solution. I think Intelli might already have some ideas about doing this already.

It's not going to happen. Intelli would have to rent out a second server, otherwise the additional load would cause too much lag on both maps, and not nearly enough people donate to keep two servers/maps going.
