I don't know if a forum ban request really warrants the public opinion, but as everyone seems to be doing so with no staff saying stop, I'll share mine:
I've seen plenty of Chicken's spam and found some of it a tad hilarious at how terrible it was.
No offence to you Chicken, but you can't deny that posting things like

Isn't what I'd take as anything good from a first impression.

I'll keep this simple: you've been asked a bunch to stop with the random posts/threads, so of course something like this is going to happen. Nobody asked you to stop posting all together, just less random nonsense, that shouldn't have been hard to do. A ban request is for when it starts getting out of control or doesn't show signs of stopping. Take people's advice and stop with the random nonsense and stick to topics more and people will certainly start taking a liking to you.
I'd say things about the grammar and punctuation you use (none) but that may just be me.
Thing is, Chicken, I have nothing against you, and I try to keep a pretty neutral stance on everything, but I can't help but think a week off for all the useless posts would be a minimal sentence for you, as most would have likely been given a week or two off for just creating a random, one word sentence (could it be considered a sentence?) in only a couple threads. In all honesty, I'm surprised you were not banned sooner.
If you had reacted a bit better than you did, instead of

as if you are implying this is our fault and we're in the wrong I wouldn't be so ready to say yes to this. You've been asked to stop, you did not, thus a ban request appears to make you stop.
If you could make a wholehearted apology here saying you won't be making any more random threads/posts that offer no value to the community whatsoever, or perhaps give us proper reason why you shouldn't be forum banned, I'm sure this request would be withdrawn and everyone can go back to being hunky-dory.
But with your initial reaction and trying to make it seem like we're all in the wrong for wanting you to stop, I'm going to have to say this is a perfectly fitting ban request, and that while forever is a tad too long, a few weeks is not.
Perhaps if you'd make a convincing apology instead of jump off the handle right off the bat, I'd change my mind.
But until then, good ol' +1 to this.
No offence to you chicken, but you need to know that this is your fault and that posting random nonsense all the time isn't okay in a proper community. I'm hoping you can take something helpful out of this post.

And also, just a quick tip to you, Chicken, there's an edit button on posts for a short time after you hit submit near where the quote and like buttons are, I suggest you use it instead of making multiple posts stating the same thing.
