Hello All,

Since we have now horses, perhaps we should think of a highway system to allow players to use horses for long distances (in addition to the metro system). If you agree to the idea, we should form a group responsible for the design of the street (where, materials, size, lights) and then plan the execution.

You can ride them along the subway as well. You just need to force that guinea pig down there to make sure its ok.

My thought is why not just drive your horse into the subway and just ride it down there?

I think adapting the subway for horses would be better, since you're less likely to run into someone who might want to kill your horse. (Inb4: But u keel horzez all da teim!)

It is a cool idea, though. Not really one that would require a suggestion to be made, since it would have to involve the realm owners, and staff can't really force a player to allow the potential highway to pass through their realm or to help build it.

Despite riding Oswald to spawn several times I have only been attacked once with a snowball.
Even if someone tries to attack your horse it is easy to make a quick getaway.
Voted no because horses are fairly suited to rough terrain.

Even they can run through rough terrain, idea is to have save ways; there are several deep holes in this map that would just kill you and your horse – if possible, I would avoid this. First question, do we need such highway system (I guess it's faster to travel by horse and it would enable us to see more of the map, so I assume the answer would be yes), and if we vote for yes, do we want it (probably yes). Up to now there was no need to have a uniform street/highway system, but when I just look at my few realms (that you cannot easily cross with a horse), I would guess it would nice to have ways for fast riding.

Of course, this would be some much better if minerealm had smaller realm sizes, say based on chunks?

Well this would be nice and a faster way to travel on a horse; and me, soso_1, and zatch16 is building along with our rails a cobblestone horse path for out of home realm travel so we can get around faster to other realms like my desert colosseum/beach arena that is far away from our home realms. This would be fun to make and allow faster travel on a horse(I know you can use the subway for horse travel but this would be for above ground travel so you could see all the wonders of MineRealm).

This is how far the colosseum is from our home realms:

The colosseum is circled in black and our home realms are circled red, and the terrain is very hilly and most of the blocks are 2 to 4 block jumps or more than 4 block falls; so a major horse road to get to major guilds, cities and other creations safely that are far away would sound like a good idea.
