You know it's futile to argue when when Intelli himself makes the suggestion himself. It's like fighting the current of a river, or trying to win an argument with your wife over you not being completely sure when your anniversary

I'd prefer most staff actually making suggestions. They are actually good and can be well debated on a positive side. I see no point in clogging forums with invalid suggestions.

If you read the original post that Intelli made:

To reduce bursts of idiocy, I propose we implement a new rule that states that users can only create 1 topic in the ideas/suggestions forum per week.

That would mean you'd need to wait a full week before being able to create a new idea.
So it'd be "Monday I post > "Rest of the week" > Monday I can post again."
