I'm pretty sure this will be considered an invalid suggestion, which is why this is not in the suggestions section of the forums.
EDIT: Feed the Beast is a collection of pretty much the best mods made for minecraft. Go to feed-the-beast.com for more details. Here is an excerpt from the site:
Basically, it started out as a custom map that used many mods, and became so popular that it is now referred to as the pack with all of those mods. I'm NOT referring to FTB as a map for Intelli to host as a world. This suggestion is simply asking to generate a new world with the FTB modpack, preferrably Ultimate (in my opinion), but that is up to Staff if they decide to do so

I've been looking for a good feed the beast server for a while now, and when I say good I mean one that is completely legit and lag-free. The closest I've been able to find is one that is almost legit (you can still get items through voting for the server) and lag-free in general but with terrible constant block lag. I don't think a server like the one I'm looking for exists, or can be easily found, because the ones which show up when you search anywhere are simply the ones with the most votes, which suggests that there is a voting benefit. And I doubt highly that any server out there has a system similar to the realm system, which seems to me to work much, much, better than Towny, which almost every FTB server out there has.
I realize that Intelli cannot simply create a new server, from looking at the old finance reports that he used to put up a lot of the money needed to simply run vanilla survival is either coming out of his pocket or the advertisements.
So, I will suggest a new and completely different system that will only apply to the FTB server if accepted. There will be voting and donor benefits, however not in the form of items, but in the form of credits. Some small amount that will add up to be substantial if you constantly vote. With a tax from buying realms and transactions with other players, there will still be a substantial credit sink, but will promote people to vote for the server. These votes will only apply to the FTB server. As for donator benefits, donating on main or FTB will give the player the benefit on FTB, and I can't think of an FTB-related donator benefit so if someone could think of one that would be great :3
The forums will be the same main site but in a different section, maybe minerealm.com/community/ftb? so that the ads on the site will generate more revenue to run the server.
Of course, if Intelli feels that this will draw more players in just from his usual advertisement techniques, there is no need to implement this system xD. But as long as there are no constant messages being broadcast asking people to vote or stating that someone has just voted, only a sign at spawn infoming new players about voting benefits, I would not mind this at all.
Please vote and tell me what you think. If you just want some minor changes to the system please vote yes, if you think the system should be completely changed please vote the third option, and don't vote no >:). Thanks for taking the time to read this <3

. And then for every block you don't want it to protect, like levers or buttons, that's 1 line of code each.
