Hello,
I've been banned for quite some time now, and for a decent amount of it I hadn't a clue exactly what I had been banned for. At the beginning of this situation I was shocked, a bit confused, but overall it didn't really dawn on me what had occurred, and how much of an effect it would have on me. I asked other staff members for my ban reason and when receiving my reason I was a little jumbled, looking to further my clarity on my ban I asked in a ban reason request on the forums, in which Intelli informed me I was banned for "disrespect, making threats, etc." When seeking further clarification unfortunately I was never informed of the specific details. Due to this I will be attempting the best I can on this appeal with the information I have been told, and the situations regarding this. From what I have collected in terms of information, a few things may have led to my banning. I’ll attempt to make the most sense of it as possible in my appeal, if I am incorrect on my assumptions please feel free to inform me and I will do my best to further my appeal and regard any new factors that need to be clarified.
First Factor to my banning:
A while ago, there was a disbanding of the realms owned by Texas_hitman. And a race was formed by all players who knew of this to buy the realms. As a major spawn realm it was no wonder so many players had their eye on it. In the end, I had been the one to buy the realm, and was immediately messaged by multiple members of the player base. Amongst the members who messaged me, was the owner himself, Intelli. This is where I think the first factor of my banning takes place, and please correct me if I'm wrong in any manner. We had a conversation about a few things pertaining to the realm. The main issue was if I had been willing to sell it or not. I had not intended at all to sell the realm at first, instead planning on implementing something I and fellow guild members had discussed at an earlier time. During our discussion I believe a few things may have been misinterpreted as possible threats. (Assuming this is the case) Arguments back and forth were made, a few crude things were said, and the conversation was over. I have come to understand we may have misunderstood each other, perhaps got upset and then the talk ended in a halt. I in no way intended to upset, disrespect, or threaten you Intelli, and I do whole heartedly apologize if it was taken that way.
Second Factor to my banning:
The second factor to my banning I take full responsibility for. One day VVolfie had invited Intelli to our guild. (VVolfpack) This had been done with no consulting of the guild whatsoever. As a very close guild of friends, and somewhat family this brought out a lot of anger in not only me but a few other members as well. We talk every decision regarding the guild through with every member. This can include anything from guild recruits/guild cuts, down to what color the floor of the HQ should be. I took this entirely the wrong way, and somewhat reproachfully approached VVolfie about the situation, as did a few other members. She had responded with an amusing demeanor towards the situation, in an attempt to lighten the mood, which I at the time took this to be her disregarding the situation entirely. Whilst Intelli was in the guild, there was nothing but tension. (Particularly on my part) It had not been the same atmosphere that I was used to receiving from the guild. Being a co-owner of the guild I had the power to add and remove anyone I please, and one day when neither Intelli nor VVolfie were on I removed him. The situation that occurred was entirely done out of an immaturity and anger that I don't even expect out of myself. And afterwards a lot of scrutiny from the guild was directed at me. When I was gone (from what VV has told me) she was confronted about removing Intelli from the guild, she had no idea that he had been removed at the time, and it was later discovered that I was the one to remove him. Shortly after this, I was banned for disrespect.
Appeal & Apologies:
Now after a few months of debating and weighing my options, I’ve decided to appeal this ban and hope for the best. I’ll do whatever I can to be unbanned and hopefully return to the server and friends that I enjoy having. My actions were (at best) very disrespectful, rude, and a tad unexpected on my part. I’ve spent a long time away from some very close friends, and the time I’ve been gone has been excruciating. As a long standing member I have put a great deal of effort into my time in MineRealm. I do in fact love this server, there are no other servers like this out there. And the feeling of signing into a community in which the majority are respectful, educated, and approachable is nearly impossible to find anywhere else. I now ask for the privilege of being allowed to play on the server and once again return to the friends I’ve spent so long away from. After well over a year on this server I respect all the people who have put in time, effort, and work to make MineRealm what it is today. I formally apologize to you personally Intelli and I do hope you can forgive me for any disrespect and trouble I have caused you. You have created an amazing server that is responsible for all the connections I have made with very close friends of mine. I don’t know what I would have done without it. I also apologize to the friends I have kept in the dark during my ban, and hope to see you in game once again. Please accept my apology, as I can assure you nothing like this will happen again in the future, and from this point forth any personal issues will be kept from clouding my judgment, and my actions will not be influenced by them. If there is anything I can do, let me know and I will do my best to fulfill it. My ban was no one else's fault but my own, and I accept that. I hope this appeal grants me the chance to move forward, prove that I have changed as a person, and allows me to mend the bonds that have rusted over this time of separation.
