I mentioned Equestria Girls to my parents and they said the while family might be able to go to a showing. My four year old sisters are a good excuse to the outside world, but my parents know it's me who wants to watch it; I'm the one who got my sisters into it . The only question is if our theater out in the middle of nowhere is going to be showing it.

I'm in the middle of pretty much nowhere also, that's why I drove an hour and got lost to find it! While still thinking it could easily suck!

Okay, so I just finished #8 and I loved it. My absolute favorite part is Spike. I always felt like there was wasted potential there, and the second arc provides plenty of completely non-comedic (quite tragic and emotional, in fact) heroism by him, as well as adding another layer of emotional depth to his seemingly simple relationship with Rarity. I think not being restricted to what young kids can understand (and not be traumatized by!) has allowed the writers to add much more depth to the storyline in general, as well as to insert more adult-oriented humor and emotion.

Are we talking cycling distance? Or public transport like buses?

I know the USA is much larger and places are further apart than the UK.

Never thought of a bus. I'll look into it again.

Ok it says that the bus will take me there in 2 hours. a bike ride is about 1 hour, but it seems that they dont have bike routes yet, google maps says in beta, but its only a 30 min drive there. SO my best bet is a car. I may have some people who can drive me. But I'd also like to take my sister along. SO we can see what happens in the long run

Okay, so you guys should definitely read the books and comic books. I just was reading one of the books and it revealed Cadence's life story.

She was born as a pegasus, then adopted by a pair of earth ponies in the middle of nowhere. She eventually went on to defeat an evil witch with the power of love and a magical artifact, then got changed into an alicorn and moved to Canterlot and was raised as the niece of Princess Celestia.
