Based on anything he said it cannot possibly be discrimination. Discrimination "Is prejudicial treatment to a class or group" Hellbird is not in a position of power to discriminate anyone. TL:DR; People be tossing language around like they are buzzwords and everyone just nods their head in acceptance. The next thing we know bad will mean good... oh wait, that already happened.
It's hard to objectify language to one definite syntax, because there are ways of manipulating it ad people always make mistakes. These become ingrained, when used too much pr perceived differently for too long, into society. Discrimination, racism or not, what we can be sure of is that Hellbird's language has an offensive and belittling intent against a specific group/nationality/whatever.
Why can't all discussions be like this; why must flame wars erupt out of nothing?
