There once was a noble adventurer named lardimus_prime, he used to be an avid console gamer until one day minecraft was introduced to him. So he went out and bought a relatively high end (at the time) laptop which unfortunately only had integrated graphics and really was quite rubbish for playing minecraft. He soldiered on regardless and became addicted to minecraft playing single player for hours on end with a whole host of mods to enhance his gaming.

In time he grew weary of playing alone and sought after new adventures and delved into the world of SMP. He tried a few different servers along the way until one day in October 2011 he found MineRealm. At first this new place was frightening so he hid away in the deepest darkest depths of "public land" somewhere near Roanoke when that was still a spawn. Mining away for days he slowly began to earn more and more credits until the day finally came where he could buy his very own realm. In time he began flattening and building on the realm, he built a farm and a house for him to live in but he grew lonely. So he bought a second realm and after a couple days hard labor these realms too were flattened. So once again he began building, in this realm he built 5 houses and rented them to players of the server. Unfortunately for our young adventurer a couple of the people living here weren't so friendly and stole from the others and griefed the little hamlet. This did not phase lardimus for he continued on and bought a further realm and expanded his little village. Many months went by and he started to want to explore the world. So he packed his bags and moved near a growing city called Exodus. He set up a warehouse to store all his goods while he began all over again flattening and building on the realms.
Nine or so months had passed and lardimus wanted some friends so became increasingly active on the forums and in game chat. In time he made many friends.

With his new realms he decided to try make a city that could one day become a spawn point for new players (then intelli removed multiple spawns) so lardimus was left with what he called Utopia. Part of which can still be seen today http://map.minerealm.com/map/#/3337/64/2673/-2/0/0

Shortly after his one year anniversary and gaining the veteran achievement, lardimus went out and bought a high end gaming PC, this one actually has a graphics card not that integrated nonsense.

Lardimus had great ambitions and wanted to build great things and thought of many projects which he wanted to start. He never really got round to starting them until recently. By now he had become a very well known member of the server, he was starting to look for a guild to join. After a generous loan of 100k from redkiller he thought arcane would be a nice guild to join. After applying he waited for acceptance, finally it came. Redkiller took lardimus on a tour of arcane he could not believe his eyes, then he fell off the top of the orb and died.

Regardless this cat still had 8 more lives, in time he grew a bond with his fellow Arcanians. He soon discovered that redkiller was also a very ambitious builder and lardimus helped build the sugarcane farm (I built most of it XD) he slaved for hours until 4am one day to finish the colossal farm. Redkiller named this area Arcane Industries, AI for short.

Shortly after lardimus finished the sugarcane farm he began a project which today is known as "The Eden Project" a large 25 realm volcanic island which to this day he is still working on.

TL:DR some story, I don't even know what this guy was waffling on about

I have played on a couple of servers before I found minerealm and it has been my home for nearly 2 years, I have made many friends here who have made it enjoyable to play here. For which I would like to thank you all and hopefully many more years of enjoyment lay ahead.

Intelli, thanks for the great server. Without you and this server I would never have met some of the... lets say interesting people that I know today.

*wipes tear from his eye*

Disclaimer: This is in no way a goodbye post I am not going anywhere I was feeling nostalgic.

I hope you enjoyed reading, Happy minecrafting/minerealming.

Fixed and Also... TL:DR should be at the end of the post not in the middle. You wasted 5 seconds of my life looking for it. :P

Or maybe, y'know, he wanted everyone to see the thanks, even skippers. Just a thought.

But yeah, isn't it a crazy thought to think some people are nearly double vets? Known some of you 2 years of my life, that's longer than some people IRL I consider friends.

A lot of oldies have left/been banned though. Still.

OTOH, the majority of my friends that I see most often are non-vets in Wizards of Goof. Lol.

It's not a random story its the story of lardimus_prime's existence. I placed the tl:dr where I did so that people who didn't want to read the large amount of text knew what it was about but I wanted to people to read what followed. You probably wasted more than 5 seconds of your life writing the reply XD

I built 50% of the bottom layer and about 75% of the top layer I supplied around 5-6 dc of stone brick, 2-3 dc of sand, a load of redstone and a bunch of stacks of wood logs. I didn't say I built it all, I said most.
