I heard you still go to blockbuster!

Kidding, that has been one of the more unique things about gaming in general, the ability to easily borrow games. Something content providers have always tried to snuff out. My understanding though of the Xbox One is that the DRM system might be exploitable. You can share your library with 10 family members, but who says they have to be family? The caveat however is only two people can access that game library at the same time.

If that does not pan out the allowance to be in off-line mode for up to 24-hours is highly exploitable. All one would need to do is configure their router to block internet access to the system except for a narrow time window during the day.

You can't forget EXCLUSIVES I barely even looked at the xbox one before going "yep, ps4 the win".
I'm a huge fan of naughty dog, quantic dream and I like JRPGs.
And to the PC master race you being all smug is frankly a little annoying.
I'd like to be in the PC master race BUT I live in a fairly low income family, the PC I have currently is a school laptop and is fairly crap TBH.

The only reason I bought a PSone... Final Fantasy. I have never seen Xbox as having "exclusives" since historically any game worth playing gets ported to the PC. Sony on the other hand is not so quick to discard their top sellers.

The benefit of owning a console has always been 1.) affordability 2.) ease of access. You could buy a game, put it in the console, and play it instantly. You didn't have to know if you had the right specs or how to install it, you just put it in and bam! Mario Kart! You could give the game to a friend to borrow over the weekend and vice versa. Xbox 360 has been great the last few years I've owned it. I would've got a PS3 either for Kingdom of Hearts 3 or The Last Guardian alone, big fan of Shadow of the Colossus and KH on PS2 (don't have an xbox) And before that on the Nintendo 64, had great time growing up on Super Mario 64, Donkey Kong 64, Legend of Zelda, Banjo Kazooie, Super Smash Bros, and some emotional scarring with 007, Perfect Dark, and Pokemon Snap. As of now, there's no motivation for me to get an Xbox One or a PS4 or the Wii U (lolol), but the PS4 is looking much more attractive right now (oh my!) Really they both look like watered down PCs, only I can't update the hardware on a console. Exclusives are the only thing that may sway my decision to a console, and as someone previously stated, anything good on xbox ends up on PC. REAL exclusives are going to be on PS4. So if anything, I'm going to get a PS4 :D
