I thought I might just pop this one up on the suggestion list to see how well it fares.
Back-story: We've all seen these things occur, and they've been a reoccurring peeve for the longest time: the demanding by new players for "Op," "Staff," and/or "Mod."
Basically, my proposal is to give the auto-response a bit of spice/attitude/humor.
These pesky questions such as "Can I be Op?" or "Can I be admin plz?" would be promptly responded by something witty such as "<Server> To get Op, simply press F4 and Alt at the same time." or "<Helpbot> To be an admin, press and hold F3, Fn, and C for ten seconds."

That would be very cruel and then people would just abuse the helpbot

1. Those particular replies are just plain unacceptable.
2. We don't really need this, because they aren't any more likely to listen to Helpbot than they are to listen to normal users.
3. It would be easily abusable.

We don't need to give these people a reason to annoy us. Replying to them should be sufficient to ward off all but the most determined. If they ignore you then they are purposely being a nuisance and deserved to be ignored themselves.

Rather than one of those witty remarks, why not just have Helpbot kick the person asking for staff, op or admin? With the second offense being a ban perhaps? Personally I think this would be more effective than making them close their game..
