What about air travel?

Didn't you just make a thread saying that you are thankful of mods/admins and think it's selfish for people to make pointless demands for unnecessary addons for stupid reasons? At least try to keep your lies straight for 8 hours.
That, and we already had an entire thread explaining why that's a stupid idea. You should remember, you had like 7 useless posts in it.

Lights, I was just wondering about the air travel because I know its popular. I have seen a few threads about it so it might be helpful. Now lights, can we please stay on topic? And I don't remember posting on those but I will look.

What is your guys' standing opinion towards chest-locking? The way I see it: with the hacks there are out there, it is pretty much required to have some sort of chest-locker. But I could be wrong. Go far from spawn

I think that the chest locking thing should be put in. it is possible to survive without one, but if we get rid of realms, we won't be able to protect them without making a really hard to get to vault. If we are using the countries idea, being far from spawn may not be an option. If we have the current system, I think chests should be locked to people outside the realm.

I would love chest locking. I hide my stuff pretty well, but my time shouldn't be spent trying to think of new ways to hide my stuff. Besides, hiding only goes so far and, in the end, is never 100% successful. Someone who is observant enough, has hacks, or is just plain lucky can always find your stash. It's also hard to balance inconvenience vs safety. I can put my stuff behind obsidian walls, lava traps, and steel doors all I want; obviously something valuable is in there, and someone who is curious and skilled enough will get in and find it.

Another problem is the fact that the harder it is to get to your vault, the more time it'll take for you to access it. Sometimes I want to quickly access my vault, not spend 10+ minutes getting there.

All points above are true. I also agree that chest locking would be a rational idea now. It would help a lot of people!

I personally would be fine with no chest lock if it didn't take a flippin 10 minutes to get to my vault. Possibly instead of a chest lock we could have 2 /home's. Either one would be fine.

Why do we need chest locks in the first place? 95% of my wealth is spread across the map in completely unprotected caches. The other 5% is either on me, or stored in realm. My caches have yet to be touched by anyone other than myself, and there's always one two minutes away from any location on the map.

Yes, but how long does it take to get to it? It's all just a matter of time, eventually someone will come along with x-ray and see it. That is the problem.
