I'd usually do this as an attachment as it's so big, but apparently it's over the max upload limit, so enjoy the full sized image.Image

I have heard some rumours, post April 1st mind. That we might be getting Horses in 1.5 update.
Based on the mo' creatures rather than the simply horses mod.
Image
Simply Horses is quite a cool mod and well developed although no Unicorns and Pegasi like mo' creatures.
However it does have a great selection of standard horse breeds and some carts to pull goods, etc.
Difficult to install however, requires minecraft forge and a lot of fiddling about to get it to work, quite fun though, charging around on horseback like a mongolian horse archer.

Oh, games? Well I always miss a good old' 2D platforming game. One with actual gameplay elements.
Growing up as a proud owner of the old Megadrive console (Sega Genesis for America) and having a friend who owned first a Nes and then a Snes. I was a big fan of the Sonic the Hedgehog games.
I'm guessing there's quite a few of the older fans of MLP Fim that have also been Sonic fans.
Image
Not forgetting Mario as well, whilst Nintendo may have a great tendency to release remakes of the same game updated. They do make excellent platformers involving a certain plumber.
What can I say I love all types of games, but with the market at the moment flooded with shooters I think...
A Pony Platforming game that had decent gameplay would work quite well. Perhaps a decent racing multiplayer platformer with online play could work.
Image
A great fan example of a platformer done well is the Pony Platforming Project III: Minty Fresh Adventure! by Dragon Mango. Not only are the pony platforming projects almost an entirely solo project as far as artwork and programming, but they're also rather enjoyable.
Image
PonyKart, a fan project that is slowly being worked on and yet to be shut down by Hasbro, looks like a genuinely entertaining premise. I've played on most of the Mario Kart games and really enjoyed them and even the Sonic All star racing games as well. Both have that social aspect to them and a nice competitive game for multiply players. I did get a chance to play on the demo of PonyKart at the 2012 Bronycon and it was a pretty game. It was early days and there weren't any items, not even koopa shells!
But it did show promise.
Image
If those fans actually approached Hasbro and somehow actually got them to make it, then that would be something I would be proud of.
Image
Fighting is Magic was probably one of the games that I most eagerly anticipated, stopping myself from downloading the leaked version to wait until it's proper release. That is until Hasbro stopped it.
But at least Lauren Faust did the heroic thing and stepped in with some new OC's, totally unrelated to Ponies to avoid copyright. It may not be Ponies, but I do hope that the Mane6 team has a happy ending.
I understand that Fighting is Magic, didn't exactly fit want Hasbro intends for their product image, also being a fan game, it's copying of the MLP setting and characters had potential to undermine Hasbro's trademark.

Image
MMORPG's seem like a great idea, at least when aimed for the older audiences that are used to WOW, etc.
Could work really well, however since we have two demographics a young audience and a much older audience. Having a social game where these two meet would not be desirable from Hasbro's perspective.
Image
I don't know why, but I'd really like to see what is effectively a Sims 3 game in mechanics, but replacing the humans with ponies. That's it just a substitution, no major tweaks, Just Ponies dealing with all the situations a sim would. I mean The Sims is pretty much a megalomaniacs' doll house of sorts, so why not have ponies instead.

Image
Don't get me wrong about Gameloft's My Little Pony, I do have it on my Iphone and do 'play' it.
But it is a very shallow money making exercise, not a game.
I also find it confusing, if Hasbro is still concentrating on it's target audience of young girls, as evidenced from their toy line. Why have they backed a freemium project where the business model is mean spirited and relies on impulse buying.
Whilst this makes sense to target older fans who have disposable income. (Although it is rather disrespectful)
Allowing kids to play this who will pressure parents into spending a real fortune on a virtual playground.
Well, that seems very immoral for a family toy company.

Image
What I would love to see is someone who had the same vision as Lauren Faust had when she wanted to make 'girly' cartoons cool and exciting. We need someone with the same love and dedication to make an MLP game that is fun and cool to play.
I'm still not entirely convinced that Hasbro know what they're doing, per say.
