Let's play a game, Minerealm. Go to the world map: http://map.minerealm.com/map/#/16/64/-16/-9/0/0
Notice the "-9" in the URL? That's the zoom level. It increases to -8, -7, ... , -1, "max" as you zoom in. (Conversely, you can make it go from -9 to "min" by zooming out one level from the default.) Now, zoom in until you can clearly see something that you made. No need for major structural details, just far enough that you can resolve your work from the surrounding area. How far did you have to zoom in?
As for me, the large area I terraformed to a flat surface starts to become visible at -8, but my individual structures begin to resolve themselves at -6.
Edit:
I'm seeing Arcane at -9... the dark color against the mostly-light background helps. Anybody have a megabuild, artificial ocean, huge lava pool, or any other massive object visible from the "min" zoom level?

The Greymarch has ended.
