If you're looking to go into animation I would purchase Adobe Flash. I started using Flash back when I was in junior high and it was really easy to learn. The GUI is easy to navigate, there's plenty of tutorials, and it's pretty versatile.

For even more fun (and money :/ ) you can also try Adobe Aftereffects, but find presets to make everything easier

I appreciate the advice here, I have a drawing pad already. However When I looked for animation programs flash was my first instinct, but I'm not the best at sailing the high seas (*Wink*). Again thanks and if I get anywhere with it I will post it even if its very low quality, as we all gota start somewhere. Heck I'm just starting to understand Photo shop. anyway back to pics! (Also will soon watch both snow drop and rainboom and may give an opinion also)
