I have to say that Sam would make a great moderator. He has always been honest and helpful with me and any others working around Roanoke. He gave me a job for awhile and held up his end of paying me fairly for the amount of work I did. He clearly participates in the community and along with surgeon has made Roanoke amazing!

Hello old thread.

I'm going to go ahead and bump/update this.

In my opinion there has been a slight lack of staff online recently, especially during GMT times. Based on some recent threads I don't think I'm the only one who has this opinion. Now this is not some attack on current staff, I completely understand the need to do other things than police MineRealm all day. However, it might be an idea to look into acquiring a couple more staff members to compensate.

During times when GMT players are most active there tends to be a large number of spammers/advertisers who get away with what they are doing for irritatingly long times. On top of that, any new players looking for help have nobody to turn to (when it comes to fixing grief/looting anyway).

This is partly me offering my services and partly asking for additional staff in general. Some time ago I was less active on MineRealm but recently I've been getting back into it and thus have spent a decent amount of time online (of which a lot there is no staff online). I understand that I probably don't have much chance considering I have never been made a staff member.

Anyway, it would be nice to have some more staff, particularly GMT staff but US-times could probably also do with a bit more coverage.

Also making the spam-catching abilities of helpbot a little stricter might be a good idea.
