I hope you guys realize it's about as rare as coal ore? As much as I'd love to have it implemented, there is no question of people "hogging the riches," as it's never going to be an expensive item if (when? ) it gets introduced, and will be able to be found easily. That said, many redstone mechanisms can't be built without comparators (playershops etc.) and IMO we need a full nether wipe ASAP. The only problem is that roads will have to be rebuilt, but that can be done easily and frankly I'm all for a complete wipe.

Here's another good idea. Stop frosty and the other rebel rousers from camping the portals constantly. It gets really old and with them doing that how will you wipe the nether with there being one portal and that just makes it easier for them?! No one will ever get anywhere. Good luck to anyone wanting quartz. Pfff

I know Intelli has said no to multiple requests for a full Nether wipe in the past. I doubt you will all see one now.

With that said it is the easiest way and I'd prefer a Nether wipe as well. With Glowstone trading through villagers that price has dropped significantly. There's no "economy" to ruin basically. What else is in the Nether? Roads? lol Wipe em. They take all of 10 minutes to re-cut with an efficiency pick.
