For those of you who remember me, being the oldies that you are, probably remember the glory days of Minerealm, when the server wasn't populated by 50 people 24/7. When the server had a CREATIVE portion, just for those of us who didn't want to "survive." Back when everyone knew everyone on the server, with the occasional new player on the server.

So, what are some stories that you remember about playing Minerealm in the old days, or some good stories from just yesterday.

I remember Lightbulbs' formal ban ceremony held in the Nova Biscuit HQ with their diamond staircases and golden hallways.

What do you remember?

I remember the old spawn, and walking west and seeing Westeros for the first time. I remember when the land there wasn't totally obliterated.

I remember back when we always had at least one resident-troll. The only two I can remember are Kress, and Anarchaos.

Since that probably wasn't terribly long ago; I also remember when spawn was dominated by half-slab buildings.

I remember NTC too, although that's relatively recent.

I remember when nothing was protected or sacred and the creepers did explode things. It was wonderful.

I remember wandering off into the wilderness with my compatriot to make our home, we went sooooo far. We build our tower of solitude and started a mine.

Initially we used a dirt perimeter fence, but it was a daily struggle against the creeper invasion.

Finally I had enough, and build a much more expansive fence and put TORCHES ALL UP IN OUR BUSINESS!

I remember this... at the second anniversary event.

I also took screenshots of a storage area I believe may have been Nova Biscuit's and I remember seeing some familiar names. But I can't seem to find the screenshots.

I'm only 18 months old, btw. I just know the famous, infamous, and still breathing players.

Another thing, it's funny you bring this all up. Someone came on today claiming to have been an old mod from minerealm 1.0. His name started with an O. Don't remember the full name...

I remember waterfall spawn, Korriban, Canniban0l taking over Korriban and (this one takes the cake) a public spawn realm that stayed that way for over a month. Other more recent things:

The second great purge
Operation OP (still happening)
He-who-must-not-be-named (still happening)
Garden spawn
Ugly spawn
Ninjalo
Kress
NTC
OneManWo1fPac (boy, do I miss that kid)
GS going from 15K/stack to 25K/stack to 3K/stack.
etc.

I remember when walking was the only option for rookies like me...
I remember when enchanting and similar things didn't exist so you had to earn creds the hard way...
I remember when trade had windows that looked at something...
I remember when spawn wasn't a collection of laggy skyscrapers...
I remember the days of ugly cobblestone nub boxes... -shudders-
Still, I'm relatively young compared to some of you guys.
