I think Helpbot should be given personality. The other day people were hating on Helpbot, and it would be interesting if Helpbit could respond to over simple questions like "what's your favorite color?"

I hope what someone said is right about once the newness wears people will quit abusing the system. I do, however, find it hard to believe there isn't a problem when staff starts threatening to ban people because everyone starts doing "who is xxx" and the entire chat gets filled with server responses.

Edit: Perhaps including helpbot was too much. When someone asks "where can I get food" and helpbot replies, it doesn't cause a bunch of copycats to also start asking where they can get food, which is exactly what happens every sing time someone starts the "who is" shenanigans

It did when it was first released. You just need to wait for the novelty to wear off.

No. The ony time I use helpbot is when a nub asks a question that isn't in a format for helpbot to detect. Then, I just ask it in a helpbot-friendly way and problem solved. Example:

nub007: were is tje free land i cna place blok
SuperCreeper007: Where is public land?
<Helpbot>: SuperCreeper007, follow the red line at spawn to get to the teleporter [or whatever it says]
SuperCreeper007: ^

So, implementing this would make this harder to do since I would actually have to answer their questions myself if I wanted to help, which really defeats the purpose of Helpy . Anyway, even though I have seen it get spammed, it happens very rarely imo (something around twice per hour I think? not that bad).
