The only reason I tolerate Valentine's Day is because of all the chocolate.

Valentine's day has now basically become a day for people (mainly lots of single people or stingy spouses) to complain about Valentine's day. Even if you are single, who doesn't like free candy?.. pfft. It's like lazy Halloween, you don't even need a costume all you gotta do is show up.
Hope everyone had a happy Valentine's day. Or at least didn't get hit by truck or something.

More like it has become a commercialized jumble of candy and assorted small gifts. I didn't even get candy, so it was like any other day for me.

Good god man, who kicked you in the fork of your legs so hard that you hate a holiday dedicated to being with someone? I'm not super fond of it, for my own reasons, but it's as good a reason to kick back and chill with someone as any other, and I can't hate that.
