Your probably going to look at my profile and think woah! This guy is a noob to Minerealm. Actually i'm a vet on the server just a noob to the forums :D . I thought of adding a /challenges tool to the game. Everyday different challenges would be in this tool. These challenges may include "craft 10 ladders" or "cook 64 cobble". Challenges would result in some credits for the player to use. Thought would have to go into how many credits the player would recieve and how difficult the challenge would be. After playing Minerealm a lot some people get bored and have nothing else to do. Challenges would give them an extra task after finishing their realms. Challenges would also benefit ones joining the server to get credits faster to enable them to buy a realm. Overall i think it would be a great addition to the server and a extra task for everyone to complete. Thank you for reading this request and I hope you feel the same way :)

Wrong on so many levels IMO. Minecraft is at its roots a sandbox game where you are free to create your own manner of play, whether it be PvP, mining, building, trading, exploring ... whatever. It's not a goal oriented experience, apart from The End (which has proven to be extremely anticlimactic in an SMP environment in any case).

Minerealm is a relatively vanilla version of this where the goal is to utilise the base game mechanics in the way you see fit and the way you enjoy. Vortex get their enjoyment out of owning the Nether and racking up PvP kills. VVolfie gets her fun out of finding bloo and chatting away madly. I get my enjoyment from avoiding Vortex, having a laugh with my guild, doing a bit of mining and working on a few pet building projects. The kinds of challenges you're suggesting are really foreign to that kind of open sandbox style play.

I don't think that 'bored' veteran players are going to be excited by the idea either. Craft ten ladders? Fine - open one of multiple DC's of oak logs, grab a stack, walk to crafting bench, done. It's just another form of grinding and one that's not particularly rewarding at that. At least grinding at a spawner gives you XP which is necessary for anvil and enchanting work. Any credit reward for daily challenges would have to be so low (to avoid imbalance of the economy) that it just wouldn't be worthwhile to anyone but a Day One Nub.

Hope this doesn't come across harshly - I'm not critical of you, just really don't like the idea :D

i think that the challenges that i put are basic and mainly for noobs. For vets a challenge could be kill 10 players in the nether or assasinate an admin without being seen . To do this to an admin must be on pvp and if the admin has seen you he would put he has seen you and the challenge would be over - no credits gained. What im saying is the challenges dont just have to be noob based as they could be more enjoyable like PVP challenges. Hopefully this will change your mind and that "assasinating an admin" is fun :D

After the Pvp "superbowl" im holding. Im going to pretty much restart minerealm ( keep my realms for memories) but take nothing. Anyway i thought it was a good idea.

Alright, first off, with the examples and points you've provided in your suggestion, a profile might look like this.

Name: spheregirl314
Online: Yes
Achievements: Veteran, Cobble Cooker, Ladder maker, withered, purged, sandbeast, spooky, mob killer, admin slayer, about-to-be-banned-for-killing-an-admin-while-he/she-was-on-staff-duty-in-the-nether achievement, spam-creator-with-a-bunch-of-trivial-achievements achievement.

And so forth...

What's the difference if it is littered with garbage as a private realm or not... doesn't really make a difference
