Other staff have been given ownership of realms which belonged to banned players. I don't have a problem with this just as long as non staff have the same privilege.

Well that's just it, how does staff dictate who gets special treatment and who doesn't. Let's be honest, regular players would never get this kind of treatment. I hate to use the term slippery slope, but I'm going to use it now.

In all honesty, Chubsy shouldn't have been letting Ninjalo use his account, or at the very least should not expect realms transferred to him (so he doesn't have to compete for it when it disbands) because he didn't want to keep his account secure.

**As a personal aside, I don't remember all the details, but I do remember Oneman throwing a fit over some players blocking him out of the realms of a guild member, so they could buy them when they went public. Why weren't the realms just transferred to them at the time? They all belonged to the same guild. I'm sure the owner in question would have wanted them to remain with the guild. I just wanted to highlight this as an example of a situation where players are following the rules, not expecting special treatment, and prepare themselves to compete for a disbanding realm.

Point is like I said before. Chubsy's realm being transferred to Ninjalo was Chubsy's fault. He shouldn't get special treatment because he is either A. Staff, or B. Connected.

Just isn't fair to the rest of the players, that follow the rules, and expect others to as well.

I like the part where you've jumped to the conclusion that this is special treatment, and that we wouldn't even bother to listen to anyone's case in a similar situation if they're not staff.

Since you couldn't read the details the previous times they were given, this realm never should have been ninjalo's in the first place. It wasn't a matter of giving a staff member a realm they wanted, it was a matter of returning a realm to a player when it had been wrongly taken, and a realm, complete with builds and chests is a MUCH bigger deal than a few items lost. If you're going to get all self-righteous and accuse us of corruption, you damn well better have your facts straight, and have bothered to read the ENTIRE discussion.

As to why staff gets to make decisions in difficult situations, we are literally hand-picked for that purpose. A moderator is someone who enforces rules and MODERATES disputes. We're also a lot more fair than the overwhelming majority of servers. We don't get to use our powers to help ourselves. We don't get to use our powers against people we don't like. Our bans ALWAYS have some sort of reason behind them. Go out and see some REAL corruption before you start whining about a decision you don't like because you couldn't be bothered to understand.

On my old server, staff members could put themselves in creative mode to spawn items for their clan. The owner liked to PvP and would often TP to you to kill you. Once he flew to our clan in creative mode and used a certain plugin to spam our only forest with fireballs, thereby destroying the single source of wood available within our borders.

I'd say that saying the staff here are alot more fair would be a massive understatement.

I have read the entire discussion, I understand the entire discussion, and my point still stands.

Oneman has almost all Vortex's money on his person. Is that supposed to be there? Why does the rest of vortex have to suffer because HE got banned? Chubsy's realm was transferred to Chubsy's friend, because Chubsy let Ninjalo have his account info. How is that the fault of other players that might want to compete for that realm.

It's special treatment my friend, whether you want to admit it or not. If it isn't then take the money off Oneman and give it to Cockroach where it belongs.

I don't have a dog in this fight, I don't care about the outcome, I'm simply engaging in the conversation. I'm not getting self-righteous, in-fact I might accuse you of that.

Either way, it's all good. There isn't a reason for you to assume that I'm "whining" or am displaying any of the other belittling derogatory comments you threw my way.

Judging by the number of 'likes' on comments, it seems we have a division on perspective.

Ninjalo had Chubsy's account details and managed to assume the ownership of one of Chubsy's realms (as stated before). Suddenly, when Ninjalo is banned, Chubsy becomes realm owner. This, in itself, is enough to raise concerns, especially after it took him a long time to 'seize' the realm back, at a seemingly convenient time.

From this, there are two possibilites:
1. This story is true.
2. All staff are contributing in a corrupt operation, destined to own all realms in the spawn area (which we can do nothing about).

There is plenty of reason to inquire, but this has gone too far. You may not realise, but this is borderline harassment, and I wouldn't be surprised if someone was forum banned over this.

Well considering Intelli, and Rokkr can buy, sell, and break blocks on people's realms I would highly doubt they are in a corrupt operation to own all their own spawn realms.
