Yeah, no.

The ores are already have "higher credit values" because of their utility. You don't need a bonus for mining them, the incentive is already there.

Voted no to prevent repeating placement of diamond ore and using silk touch to reobtain the diamond ore for credit farming. This will change the vanilla game-play IMO.

They already have it set-up so you cant do it now, so I'm guessing you still can't if this was implemented

To receive credits again, you must place the block (in this case ore) at another location and then mine it. You can only receive credits from placing and mining the same block at the same location once (just like some crops).

At some time interval the coding resets the location and you can again recieve credits from the same location. My experience is that it resets the location "once per week"-ish.

I understand your thought here. It makes sense. But I voted no because I believe it would cause massive inflation on the server. People would figure out how to farm credits this way, and those people would suddenly start getting rich. I just feel like this would interfere too much with the economy. Not to mention that it makes the system harder to explain when a noob asks "How do I get credits?"

The only thing that would make sense here would be greater credits for blocks that take longer to mine. But mining time is highly ambiguous do to efficiency enchantments and tool used. The system right now is simple to understand, requires little coding, and may provide significantly less lag than this proposed system. Voted no.
