I agree with Flanny here on that Intelli did not give out his contact details willingly to Minerealm's populace. The most he gives out is his name (which I shall not mention because that is sort of infringement of privacy). There are, however, ways and means of collecting information on individuals, and if the attacker has his name it helps the attacker a great deal in finding the rest of the information. The IP of the server, in which the host keeps the file running 24/7, can be found in about 5 seconds.
This is, of course, assuming he has a host that holds his files, and not a machine of his own that runs the file. However, seeing as he needs donations to keep the server running, I would believe this assumption is correct.
I will not comment on how this could theoretically be done, because I genuinely don't know the boundary that staff would find acceptable in terms of talking about illegal activities.
That being said, I will not comment on whether I believe Shockwave's story or Flan's story because I was not there to witness this incident. However, in either way I think Shockwave should be accepted back into the community.
