I'm unable to vote, don't know why.
But I'd say no, even though I waited for the creative server to get back until I got sick of waiting and joined the survival. And I like it even more than the old creative server. The main problem I see, are the fact that enabling pvp is, to be honest, a crappy idea. Minecraft is not made to be a pvp game, there's not much skill involved, the person with the best armor/weapon wins. You would not be able to opt out if it if you would want to continue playing on the survival server, and you wouldn't be able to really trust anyone. This would lead to people building small hidden bases all for themselves in the middle of nowhere, hoping that no one would find you. If you want to play all by yourself, play SP, why bother playing on a server?
The second thing that would be a problem would be the player base. Yes, there was around 60 players online yesterday, but only a handful of them are/will become regulars. Sometimes, since I am in a different time zone, I log in, type /who, and see 3 players online. And before the update, there were 20, 25 players online at peak times. If you were to create a new server, several things would happen. Most of the old players would keep playing survival. New players would practically be the only source of creative playerbase, and I guess that getting new people isn't really easy. The inital launch of the survival server was different, back then the new server had a lot of new features people have been waiting a long time for. I continued to play on the old creative server, and it had a lot less players than the survival one. I'm not sure that creating a new creative server would attract a lot of people, simply because there's nothing new about it. You should wait until there are more regular players, and enough demand, before starting up a creative server.
On the other hand, maybe it would attract more people, I don't know. I wouldn't mind a creative server, it could be a good thing. But I would definitely mind enabling pvp, at least until you are able to opt out of it somehow, maybe by having safe zones, and until the minecraftian concept of pvp gets improved.
Sorry for the wall of text, I kinda got carried away xD
