Like...how long? I've only been aware of it since today. With all the bumping, I think someone would've said something like "HOLY COW DUDE THERE'S A BUMP BUTTON STOP POSTING"

Aside from appeals, there's been some pretty nasty staff apps lately...

Edit: Found this. Apparently this has been around for at least a year and can only be used if no one has posted in the topic within the past 48 hours. Which is reasonable considering a topic updated within the past 48 hours is probably still in the recent posts section of the forums.
