Yeah, you lost one heart and you logged off (wuss). No you shouldn't be banned for winning in PVP, but for being to cowardly to accept defeat when someone more skilled than you attacked.

GINGre was being pretty bad, but IMO if people are banned for logging it should be less of a blanket rule and more on a player-by-player basis; i.e. If they abuse it a lot, they get banned, rather than they get banned for doing it at all. It's kind of like trolling, I guess: How much is okay is quite subjective, so each instance has to be dealt with individually by staff. In this case, GINGre was obviously abusing it, but there are other cases where I might, for instance, skulk around the nether, see a guy, attack him, then realize that I'm no match for him and log. It's really a matter of degree.

TL;DR: PVP logging should be bannable only when dealt with individually by staff in the case of abuse.

oh yes we did and it got voted no. and the one before that also a huge no. People just get buthurt over the fact that their easy kill logged out quickly for a few seconds, then return to frantically type "STAHP IT <wahts your face>" before their items and harvest from the nether gets stolen as they was murdered. I am tempted to make a suggestion to disable pvp in nether, which would prevent the whole ordeal, and make people actually agree on pvp in the nether. You know, be like the overworld. -_-
