The highest I've seen awarded is somewhere around 1k and most are around 100 credits. I only got 7 once. It's not just random, it's exponentially random. These extra credits don't cause a great influx in the economy by any means. It's not noticeable. The average award for voting is maybe 100 credits and you can only vote once per day. For each player that votes, that's about 1.5 minutes of mining - and that's about how long it takes to cast your vote.

Is this bribing? YES. But being concerned about the "non-legitness" of it is, in my opinion, not reasonable. For the most part, I vote so everyone can see me at the top of the list. And I think it's the same for many others.

The poll was, not the suggestion itself.

Ok, I'll just keep this simple:

I don't and ever will like it when servers add incentives for their votes. Will I do anything about it? Probably grumble a bit, but nothing major. Will I be mad about it? Insanely mad. Will I continue to vote regardless of the prize? Yes I will. Perhaps once this gets implemented again I'll make a chat thread showing the pros and cons of this suggestion just for an interesting discussion, but I promise to cloak my anger.

We'll likely be discontinuing voting altogether in a few days though, so this will all be a moot point.
