The minecraft multiplayer session servers are going on and off. If you want to stay on minerealm, I'd say don't log off once you get the chance to log in.

Also, I've heard playing minecraft in a browser will work. But browser minecraft does not and never has worked for me.

Yep. Mojang says they're poking their servers, whatever that means, LOL. I think they're trying to fix the problem. Oh, and the browser version isn't working either D:
