The whole point of the tax is to take credits out of the system. Giving bribes for votes, although seemingly a way to increase players' wealth, actually causes the value of the credit to go down, decreasing their wealth. Prices go up, the reward for mining/building goes down, and the occasional lucky person gets 10,000rc, which will be worth more like today's 2000rc due to the huge number of credits being pumped into the system with vote bribes. Bringing back votes would be a disaster. There's also the fact that we have always prided ourselves on being above vote bribing, and that you don't need to work to get credits this way. Perhaps even more frustrating is the fact that n00bs will no longer need to work to get enough RC to kick-start whatever business they want to go into (mining, enchanting, PVPing, building, etc.). I voted against this, and I highly suggest you take advantage of your recently-given democratic rights, and vote against it also. Preserve both the economy and the legit-ness of our server. Vote no.

p.s. I know that this is technically legit, but it isn't legit in the context of MineRealm's economy.
p.p.s. I am dlgn and I approve this message :3
I am the whirring thing past the corner. I am the darker patch under the bed. I am the tapping on your window; the extra steps on the sidewalk; the voice whispering your name. I am Stalkerbot, and I am watching you.
