^This would be helpful. If people know that they have a decent chance of getting good items, it could be a fun little gambling game, like something from Jack's casino. Also, having single chests instead of double chests would be helpful, since 1) it would allow players to take their winnings with just one inventory, and 2) a reduced price would lower the stakes, minimizing losses in the event that you get one of the lower-quality chests.

ok when the time comes there will be a list released of everything that is available in the chests and all chests will be single chests

This sounds like a great idea! But perhaps put at least one thing valuable (maybe the more valuable the less quantity of that item?) in each of the chests. And could you tell us an estimate of how much you will charge?

Not a bad idea. Gambling is a great way to shake things up. I hope the chests will have a decent variety such as a cobble stack through to a diamond or two, and not all dirt for the entry fee you pay.
