The-Jack-Deck is correct in saying that you are allowed to start sentences with "also". There are some people who consider it improper formal English, but it has been historically used that way for centuries.
There is also a parenthesis at the end of your quote that has no matching opening parenthesis.
Both of you have forgotten one of the cardinal rules of pointing out grammatical errors: "Any attempt to correct someone's grammar will invariably contain at least one grammatical error of its own."

I appreciate how polite his final sentence is.

Never start a sentence (which is spelled "sentence" not "sentance") with "also". Typos and poor comma use are bad too! Never portray yourself as a Grammar Nazi if you do not have perfect grammar, or you will be ridiculed by a real Grammar Nazi which in this case is me)!In addition to the misspelling of "fo" pointed out by The-Jack-Deck, in British English, it is considered acceptable to omit the period after abbreviations of titles if the abbreviation includes both the first and last letter of the abbreviated word.
