This thread is ridiculous... The staff team has personal lives to deal with in addition to your bitter nagging for a solution to greifing on Minerealm. You must calm down and pm a staff or get online later. Sometimes it's not all about you and your life on the game.

He's right. There have been at least 1-2 staff on at any given time. It's dwindled. Hetter's gone, Ryu's got stuff going on, Shaddow from what i have noticed just is normally idle, Intelli is working on a project, Ael's got crapo internet, and Kero... is too busy stealing souls to appeal Cthulu. VV and Rokkr are usually the only ones on, and now for me to even see those two on during day hours, is kinda like "where'd they go"

Some staff need to be hired, and yes i agree, a GMT staff member is needed. VV cannot be expected to pull the late nights that she does at times. All of our staff are in the US.

WE NEED A GMT TIME ZONED STAFF.

Maybe they are never on for GMT day because they are EST just like me, or maybe a different timezone?

But the point is that there should almost always be at least one staff on--that's why there are staff from a variety of different time zones. In my opinion, the greatest amount of time that should ever go by without at least one staff being on is half an hour. That said, handlebars are a consideration for some people, and we have to be understanding about it.

The griefing in question has been rolled back. The grief was already banned. Ewana1991 and alternate account kingspartacus are now banned as well, for grievous disrespect.

That said, yes, Flanny is largely correct in her assessment. Ryu is currently having computer problems, and I can only be online for a limited amount of time, during which I also have other things which I MUST do. Hetter is also no longer staff.

I'd like to point out that I do not log on and then afk. If I am online, I am monitoring chat while doing RL work (I pretty much always have work to do). I typically log on solely to help people, so if you see me standing at spawn for like five hours, I am just waiting for someone to need help And then after I help, I generally go right back to where I was. I glance at chat every now and then to skim it (since it is on my other monitor), but certain keywords will give me sound notifications Although, admittedly, I usually don't see spam until they stop.

Btw, I am not arguing your point... I just want to be clear that I'm actually still there, since some people tend to think I am a bot or something =/

No, clearly all staff need to be up 24/7 in order to take care of inactive sparty and his realms. It is our duty as staff, we sign a contract and everything. If we don't put in at least 21 hours a day into MineRealm we are thus terminated for lack of effort and seen as unfit for the job. No one who plays MineRealm can have a life so if you do have a life don't apply for staff! Sleep? Sleep is now an old friend you once knew, no sleeping or resting for you while you are part of the communist faction of MineRealm.
