1) This sixty diamond thing has gone way too far. Now there will be no cheat protection for those who wanted it most because a lot of us wanted to be leaders of our current survival realms on the new map.

To shovel every player into a few centralized cities and prevent them from founding their own cities, with their own construction plans? So what if you have a few small realms scattered everywhere. The whole point of the realm system is to allow players to carve a little slice of the map for their own building pleasure without fear of being harassed. Now, anybody who can't come up with 60 diamond is going to be forced to build on a 10x10 plot a realm leader alots for them, instead of potentially founding their own city.

If you want to play by yourself and make a town by yourself, do it on single player.

I can make over 30 diamonds in 1 hour of solid mining.
With 5 other friends that means we can make a realm in 20 minutes of the server being made.
If anything the price should be raised.

It's only 10 diamonds per player.
Or, if you get 10 people together, 6 diamonds per player.

In the ~45 day reign of Novasbiscuit, with 3 dedicated players, we wound up with a net profit of 700 raw diamonds, and if you include tools, armor, that goes up to 1200 diamond.
Suck it up and get those 60 diamonds.

Of those 1200 total diamonds, about 100 were collected from actual mining.
