Day one of the canterlot gardens and what a day! We dident get in... Yes, it seems that the inn reached capacity and couldn't take anymore walk ins. So, with great disappointment, my sis and I had no choice but to try tommorow. While it sucks that today was something she was dreaming of for the past month, and picked out a small dress for the gala tonight, we just have to settle for Saturday. She seemed sad and a bit hostile on the way back, I am determined to get up early tommorow for my second chance. I don't care what the cost, tomorrow ill get her a suviner from this con. I will not let this drop through the cracks, it means to much to me to see her happy. Today was a bust, however tomorrow is another chance.

When I get back to my regular Pc I'll post pics and stories if there was anything worth a mention. In the mean time, i have to live with a bot of a let down.

I wanted to attend Canterlot Gardens so badly, but I won't have my licence until next spring.

Back from the con, and yes it was worth it. I got Tera Strongs signature on one of my sketches. Was hectic, but worth the wait. Didn't get that much, as far as hats/tees, but i got buttons, some goggles, and a few trading card packs. Sister got some fury gloves, and my brother got a fur tail. We had a blast. Was worth the short ride and little sleep the day before Ill post tomorrow.

Here we go! Got the pics here. Was a fun time like I said, lots of cool stuff and interesting people. So right off the bat, was a close call. There was a limit on walk in's. My group was luck enough to get the last 7 one day passes they had. This is why you pre-order people!

Moving on, during the first panel i realized it was almost time for Tara Strong autograph time. Well I underestimated this and got stuck WAY far back, ended up missing that time frame. so it was off to the "Friendship is witchcraft" panel. Was great, had an "exclusive" convention video for us. I say this because they uploaded it in-front of us right after.

Lets finish this story! Only caught very little of the fighting is magic tournament, but if I couldn't play, I wasn't that interested. But also I had to skip somewhat on the MLP voice actor panel. Because, like I said, the Tara line was unbearable. So I hung out to get there early. Long story short, I get in. My sister and me had to go separate, but we still got what we came for.

Was great, sis got a complement on her drawing and I got one for my hat :3



So right after, we get head to the store, where we got aforementioned gear. Including an exclusive apple jack card. Least that's what i told they were from everyone around me. But after that we lined up to see the show stopper! The script reading featuring Tara strong, John DiMaggio, Grey DeLisle, Quinton Flynn, D.C. Douglas, and Jennifer Hale.

Watch this, you will die laughing. Unfortunately we were seated to the far left, so we cant be seen.

So this covers all the major events of the party, but before we got to the dance, my lil sister got to meat the big guy himself, Big Mac (Peter New)

Honestly that all sounds amazing! Next year, I'm definitely going.
