I thought someone had created a feature on minerealm that allowed players to /ignore at their will. If this is true, then shouldn't the fact that I'm banned or unbanned not be relevant since they can easily ignore all messages.

Yes, I did make a mod that allows people to ignore messages. However, no one should ever be required to install a mod to prevent blatant harassment. My mod was intended to block people from public chat (client-side) that certain players found to be annoying, so that they would not have to /chat.

On a side note, if I remember correctly, I did not set it up to ignore /msg messages from other people, as that is not what it was intended for.

The fact that my mod exists is irrelevant to your ban appeal.
