I think a larger map would rule! As for the realms with no block protection and visitors the anit grief program solves that. With all the new changes let's bring up an idea that was discouraged be ause of realms. In realms you could place something above your chest to protect it. Now we wouldn't be able to. Chest lock? Idk. Hacks and exploits can easily find those hidden chambers. And we never know when someone is using them.

Oh yeah, we definitely could use a larger map. I thought the 12kx12k of the last survival map was perfect.

What abbot the chest lock thing rokkr. I know it has been dissed before but now without realms it might be a good idea. I know it's survival but whenever you can't even protect ONE thing the game becomes unfun. I doubt that it will be implemented but it might be a good idea. Now that I thought about it I am all for ditching the realms and just moving on with a bigger map and an anti grief system. At first I was scared of changing our ways but it won't be that bad. I guess that the only thing to do if locked chests aren't implemented is just to go as far away from spawn as possible.

Chest lock isn't needed. Be smart protect your chest hide them. My secret chest room is under some lava with obsidian on top with only one way in.
Not a secret anymore.

Another great way is to collect a little iron and put the chest inside it. X-ray mods do not see through iron, as they are designed to see it so you can collect it (at least i think)

*Ahem* Now to put my side of opinions in this:

1. I do like the realm system, but i also like the old fashioned way too, go whatever with that.

2. We need chest protection. Why? Well, normally you just want to protect from looters in the wilderness, but youve also got to think of the bigger things. Greifers normally use x-ray hacks, making it VERY easy to find chests and minerals. Within 10 minutes, 3 chests full of your stuff is gone, forever, resources in the world wasted, with what we have dwindling left. Realms help protect them

3. I would like to see realms (if still on) being able to go to private when they are made. My realm was (Very recently) Utterly destroyed because i have no other members in it, thus unable to make it private.

Once again, my opinions, though i strongly support #3

Your forefathers didn't have chest lock, and you shall not have it. We were fine on the last map. The trick is not to hold your most valuable possessions in a giant city. Some people did it in Kurachi, those same people became beggars. It takes so little intuition to actually hide a chest, I don't think you should be on the server if you can't figure out how.

I have an emergency chest at spawn that has been there for weeks and it's yet to be found. With a bit of imagination you can keep just about anything safe.

The most used mods are designed for finding ores. If someone is a little more experienced in griefing, they very well could have a chest-only mod. But yeah, iron is good.
