I guess there isn't much i can really do about it then. It may just have to sit unused till the next map wipe. Anyway i just build my wall with a weird square missing out of it, i guess it doesn't look that bad.

There are no map wipes. Ever. You can always sell your realms and move somewhere else if it bothers you that much.

Consider yourself lucky he even talks to you. I've been dealing with neighbors for 6 months that just log in log out every month without playing at all.

What should be done in situations like this. If you buy a realm so far away from you, yet don't bother to build on it or visit it. You get a refund for the credits used, a pm here in the minerealm forums stating that your realm was disbanded due to lack of use after so many weeks. However if you placed 20blocks minimum on the realm you purchased then it is considered used by the person who bought it.

This would prevent alot of things in my opinion, however the mechanics for this to work in server might be difficult.

Well, in order to purchase a realm, you have to be there... so after purchasing it, they would just place 20 blocks and be done with it. Or do you mean every month? If so, then that would be obnoxious. I have projects away from my city that I have completed, and hence do not build on anymore. Remembering to go around to all of them every month to place and then destroy blocks would be annoying... and then, what if I forgot? Some projects are also on multiple realms, meaning that I would need to do it on each realm...

While I think buying realms just because other people might need them is kind of a jerk move, I don't really think there is a system that would stop that.

The reason why i keep the realm is that i honestly don't know if i have something valuable in the depths of the realm and i think i bought the realm from sneakerhead and I haven't had the time to check it out.so ill check it out and then I decide if I'm going to sell it or not ok? I'm on vacation until August so it may take a while.
