And we haven't done any advertising in over 5 months! We're looking to start advertising back up once 4.5 launches.

I'm curious what the player retention rate is and how you measure it?

Also curious about this. Would also be interested in how the retention rate changed, if at all, after the teleporter was implemented.

Also, if our retention rate is low, and the majority of first-time players never come back, that would suggest that improvements to the server should be a higher priority than advertising, because advertising will draw in more first-time players without necessarily making them likely to stay.
