Guys there's a private realm that isn't used/has nothing on it and the owner is never in it, and it's right in the middle of where i'm building my area up. Owner refuses to sell or even talk to me and i think he's just keeping it there to annoy me. What should i do about it?

I'm willing to pay him well above the going rate for the realm but he wont even reply to me now.

This can be moved to ban request if needed.

The area marked green i own. The areas marked yellow are what i am intending to buy, the area marked red belongs to MrKeveCool. Now he has owned that realm for a while now, and i am happy to buy it off him. But he refuses to be sensible with me and has suggested 100k as a price for it! He doesn't use it or ever go to this area and i don't want to buy the rest of the yellow marked realms yet incase he doesn't sell his, because i'll be left with useless land in a weird shape. I'm happy to negotiate a sensible price with him but he purposefully ignores me and i know he's just keeping it there to stop me using the land properly out of childishness.

You can see i've began to build perimeter walls but since he owns that plot i;ve had to cut the one shown on the right short, and now it's rediculous. The buildings/realms shown directly to the south are not his and are not owned by him and never were, either.

I really don't know what to do about it now!

He's already told you his price, and he's ignoring you because he's allowed to. You can't just wish away anyone you don't like. It's your fault for buying realms were Keve's already was. Grow up.

I disagree, its just a realm he owns that he's forgotten about and now knows he can just leave it there for no gain of his own apart from to stop me from building in the area properly. He doesn't need or use it, he's just keeping it now i've reminded him it's there to wind me up. Charging 100k for it is hardly a serious offer, is it?

By the way the buildings to the south on the picture aren't his either, so it's not like he's holding it to use in the future to extend his.

I have realms that I don't use. Does that mean that I should sell them? No. I worked hard to get them. Keve taunts people, he does it to me regularly.

If you aren't using them and don't intend to you should at least consider selling them for a fair price, say 20k, otherwise what's to stop me just going and buying up plots of land in places people know they'll need to complete a project and just ruining the ability for people to use the land around them properly?

Yes, but Keve purchased this realms before you purchased yours.

Since keve bought the realm before you were ever there, he might have bought them to 'bother' the ones to the south. It might be his 'business' to charge 100k for a realm one might want to buy to expand. If they don't accept the offer, keve lucks out and keeps the realm (consider infinite time, and someone is going to buy it eventually). If they accept the offer, keve makes 80k to 90k profit.

If he doesn't sell you the realm for a reasonable price or even simply give you rights to the realm, I think it's safe to assume that is the case, it's a for-profit business (though he won't make much money at 100k!).

Purchasing a realm with the sole intent of bothering another player is banable.

-If keve purchased this realm after you purchased yours, then he is at fault.
-If you purchased your realms after keve bought his,then keve is not at fault.

Who decides what's "fair"... For all you know, keve could have a quadruple-skeleton spawner farm set up below the surface, or a glowstone monument to himself in the cave system. Or maybe he just likes the view from that realm, and it's worth a lot to him for that reason.

You can buy realms wherever you want, regardless of whether you think you'll actually use them, except when it's being done with the sole purpose of antagonizing another player. That isn't allowed.
