Any and all prices are based off what a buyer and seller agree too. If you are unsure what a decent purchase price is, PM a trusted player, or just ask the chat. That said, a stickied thread involving prices would start flame wars and ban requests the likes of which haven't been seen since the days of Lightbulbs/Kress, and would create chaos in the market comparable to logging on and the map having been wiped.

TL;DR

Economic chaos, uneeded, obligatory banned player referance, map wipe, terrible idea. Got that?

READ PREVIOUS POSTS- Setting prices for anything messes up the entire trade system. You can't get "screwed over" in it because someone sells you something for a high price. They named a price you were willing to pay end of story. Also Staff just said there will most likely NEVER be a sticky of set guess prices because it would constantly be disagreed upon, and cause too many problems in this player run economy. Just except it for what it is. Thank you.

TL;DR

I though about this for a bit, and it seems that you are right, however not only would there be a ban seminar, but a black market would most likely form, which would be very hard to control.
