I have been kicked for flying a few times while building, mostly while building roofs in mid air of half tile, so I do know for a fact its possible, but honestly it could just be the way i am doing it. I dunno, it seems to hit others harder. Other than those few times i almost never get kicked, even if i am jumping off a cliff from half tiles in the middle of a lag spike.

when he was kicked was after 1.5 update and everything was super laggy, if your wondering of the tall structure he was building here is a vid i took. he was kicked few times before for flying because of lag& placing blocks with sneak.

That looks like a completely different server, or just a far away ungriefed area of our current server. Shar was at spawn, or so that's what I'm lead to believe, when he got benny banned and in either case that building isn't nearly tall enough to cause a auto-kick for flying. Your video can hardly be considered conclusive evidence.

If you really wanna know, I was kicked around 3 or 4 times while constructing my new apartments recently... It wasn't even a very laggy period either. I don't know how often I got kicked though, but I do find myself a bit concerned about building if the threat of being banned, if one gets kicked often enough in records if they are just building, and we would never consider taking evidence of ourselves, once said ban happens.

Ok look. Intelli saw on the logs that he was kicked numerous times for flying. The day before that, I saw the same thing. Unless you provide an ACTUAL appeal (IE something other than "I dont fly.") then we cannot do anything.

An actual appeal of what form? As far as most of us can tell, he was kicked by intelli's anti-fly thing being too sensitive. Beyond saying he doesn't fly, what can he say? You might as well have declared that he can not appeal because there is no way to appeal beyond what he has already done. You don't find it acceptable that he say he doesn't fly, but that's the only thing he can say against a log ban.

Just what would you consider an actual appeal? There are no rules that cover this, no precedent, nothing to argue from or for. Just tell him he can not appeal because no appeal is permitted and get it over with.
