Gentlemen,
I'm sure most of you have heard me mention Kurachi in-game. Now, we're accepting residents!
The city currently features a massive tree farm with public access, a maximum height lighthouse, a townhall, a housing district, a wheat farm, the first and only LBG stadium, a subway system connecting to other cities that currently boasts over 3km in track, a large neighborhood with expertly constructed homes, and more to come.
Notice: Any players seen in Kurachi that aren't recognized by any of us will be asked to leave. At which point you will want to /spawn or /home, unless lava on your face is something you like. Entering homes (they are pretty obvious to determine as homes) will result in lava on your face, breaking things/ taking torches/ opening chests will result in lava on your face. Swearing at or harassing Kurachi residents will result in lava on your face.
Quick Overview
We're constantly growing and in need of more supplies and more able-bodied workers. Every person's assistance is greatly appreciated.
Central-City Housing
Housing comes at a price, unfortunately. In the Central City, prices are predetermined and posted outside each room in the housing complex. You may ask me for the room and I shall grant it to you for the listed price. However, payment for central-city housing can be completely nullified in exchange for some of your time and labor contributions, be it in the continuing of our train station, mining in the quarries, etc. This is a constant task, but your work does not go unappreciated, as every ounce of it is used in enhancing the city and bettering your stay here in Kurachi. Central-city housing consists of a pre-constructed housing district complete with a workbench and chest for your own personal storage. We encourage you to keep true valuables on your body though, as we cannot guarantee their safety in these chests.
Labor Details
You will simply work alongside us with whatever project we are currently working on. The most common jobs will include:
-Hunting farm animals
-Mining in the quarry
-Chopping trees
-Digging the subway tunnels
In all cases, everything you collect must be donated to the community warehouse where it will be used for ongoing projects. This guarantees your free housing. Construction is usually handled by one of the city co-owners.
Purchasing Open District Lots
Purchasing an open lot not already pre-constructed is currently only available outside the city limits in the beach-side docklands. Costs are currently at 1 Coal/ base block plus 10. So, if the lot were a 6x7, it'd be a onetime payment of 52 Coal. You may instead pay for the property with an alternate material that I agree upon, if you'd like.
So long as it is approved by me, you may extend the size of your property for the cost of 1 Coal/ base block.
Outer-City Housing Rules
Naturally, you are limiting length + width-wise to however big the lot is. Height is limited to 8 blocks without consulting me. I will usually say yes to a higher height, it just needs to be cleared by me (explain your housing plans!).
You can dig down as far as you want so long as it doesn't leave your house boundaries. If it does, you will be required to purchase extra housing boundaries until it meets with the extent of your underground endeavors (or fill it up and forget the whole mess?).
City Features
As mentioned before, we have a public tree farm where you can chop as many trees as you want so long as you replant them in the same place when you're done. We also ask that any spare supplies you donate to the community warehouse. This city tends to share supplies in order to achieve full efficiency and we encourage you to take part in this.
Our community kitchen also doubles (for now) as the community forge, use them in either instance as you wish. If you see materials left in the furnaces, please leave them in there and mention it. If nobody responds, leave it there and use another furnace.
Fresh and amazing is the subway system we have slaved over building for the past few weeks. It speeds up travel by at least 4-fold, which is awesome.
The Lighthouse. It currently serves no purpose but is very high and fun to jump off of.
Our city hall will keep you up to date with ongoing projects where your assistance is needed. Any major changes to the city (such as the upcoming wall expansion) will be listed here as well.
A wheat farm that is also fully accessible to all. Please replant seeds after harvest, though.
Hunt animals at your pleasing.
An upcoming district! (See map below)
There are more features around the corner!
Want to just come to visit?
Go right ahead. We are pretty close to spawn, and I find it difficult to miss a maximum height lighthouse. If for some reason you don't know where to go, feel free to ask me in-game for coordinates / directions. NOTE: We also ask that you notify us that you wish to come visit, as unexpected visits will be treated as potential griefers/looters.
Can I do a dive off the top of the lighthouse?
Sure. Make sure you land in the water though, we aren't retrieving your gear for you.
I accidentally dragged a creeper into the city and he blew things up. What do I do?
Let someone from Kurachi know, repair the damage, and move on. If the explosion happens to mess with any redstone wiring, leave it be and contact Cerevox.
I purposely dragged a creeper into the city and he blew things up. What do I do?
Lol. Get out.
