Thirty-three days, and still no acknowledgement from any staff (minus Agent, and props to him for posting, despite being the newest member of staff) of this ban appeal at all, while other players have been un-banned for, in my opinion, much more serious crimes.

Note: I'm not even saying that Lizard deserves an unban, however after this amount of time it seems like he could really use a response from staff saying what is going to happen to him. I also mean no offence to staff by listing other ban appeals, however I have the feeling that if I don't include them, someone will just ask to see proof of others being approved/rejected within the time since Lizard posted his anyway.

When I consider how many times people like Kress91 and Cannabin0l were unbanned (many times almost immediately) after multiple offenses much more serious than this, I can't help but feel like a poor and incredibly unfair decision was made here. I don't know Lizardsrock4 very well, but he seems like a genuinely decent player, (something we're currently running low on) while the aforementioned players were obvious and constant burdens on the community, who frequently went out of their way to cause trouble and harass other players.

Normally I don't go out of my way to post in a thread that doesn't directly concern me, but when I think about the comparison I've made here and consider our current shortage of decent active players, I feel completely justified in asking the staff to please reconsider the verdict made here.

Rokkr, I think your an awesome guy, but this is crazy. How unfair it was to keep lizard waiting for so long without any idea how his appeal was going. As others said worse crimes were unbanned and I feel this appeal was rejected based on character and his personality, other quirky and funny people were unbanned rather quickly and I feel that it he was to make another appeal it should most definatley be accepted. The time it took to get a response was a long temp ban. Unfair.

This disgusts me. How could the staff make such an unfair, cruel decision? Lizard deserves to be unbanned, and you guys know it. He was pone of the most dedicated players I've ever seen on minerealm, and has stayed banned for far too long for such a minor crime. Just look, you've unbanned many players for much more worse crimes, so what gives?

My guess would be that lizard did something to offend you guys that wasn't technically against the rules, and now you're lashing out in a fit of childish rage and rejecting his appeal. Wow. Man, how could the staff of this great server be so childish and biased? Even if this isn't true, it still seems like you're trying to further kill the server by making decisions like this.

Plus, you said you had to look back through the staff logs to see if he was unbanned or not. Really? You're so inattentive as to completely forget about a vote? So, you left lizard hanging for an entire month. Kinda cruel, don't you think? I used to wonder why the server was dying, now it seems obvious.

First of all, all bans are permanent unless stated otherwise at the time of the ban.

To Ryguy and MrSark:

I had no control over Kress and Canna and all those other ones my choice was always to have those types stay banned. Most cases staff try to handle the bans individually and then as admins to unban. Other's we sometimes take a vote if staff have different opinion's, but in the end we didn't buy what he said in his appeal. Even if he tried to jump into "said hole" the closest spot to a hole was 100-150 blocks away.

To Chaosiron:

I am not childish nor biased, as I said before I had no control over the others. As far as the vote no I didn't forget about it at all. It's been in the back of my head the whole time, it just wasn't my place at that time to tell lizard it was supposed to be handle by others and they never did I had no control over that either. So I decided instead of making him go crazy longer I'll let him know. I never said he was permabanned he can reappeal if he wants.

I'm just going by what I have presented in front of me I don't hate lizard or have any problems with him. With that said Lizard sorry for giving you such a verdict after such a long period of time and hope everything is well.
