If anything, the map should be larger. However, more transport methods would be awesome, the majority of Minerealm agreed that it should go in a less vanilla direction.

What about transport hubs, where people build nice looking airships/ships/trains and then these act as paid warps to other transport hubs...

2) More than 10% of all realms are claimed, and like 50% of the rest are griefed to heaven.

If the map was so small that we'd all be living somewhat near each other, the underground would probably be so full of holes and mines that we wouldn't ever find new materials. The current map is fine as it is, but I don't like those abandoned private realms I sometimes see around, which are totally out of context with the rest of the biome.

In my opinion it's stupid to force people to live together in a tiny map. Oh sure, the ones that get along with each other might not find it problematical. but the ones that argue all the time would be living at each others doorstep as well. The conflicts over landownership would probably skyrocket.
Next to that you have the fact that small maps get exhausted from resources and fresh land pretty quickly.

If any changes to the map size are to be made, we should have a larger map instead of a tiny one.

So buy them, save the the chested items, and 2 weeks later, if they haven't claimed the items, absorb the items into your own horde. In the meantime, revert the realm via leveling and terraforming.

Even if I didn't know Intelli had announced the current map would be "permanent" I would still argue against this.

By making the map smaller all you'd be doing is forcing everyone into a smaller location. At the moment those that want to run off and live "in the woods" can. I don't know why so many people are obsessed with forcing everyone to live together. If we're going to do that why not just assign everyone a 50x50 area when they log into the server. That way everyone would HAVE to set up near eachother.
