Yes, you heard right. The half-strategy half-guessing board game that everyone forgot about is here on Classic!
The rules are as follows:
The rules are as follows:
- -Set up your pieces on the four rows closest your side. The goal of the game is to protect your flag. If your enemy captures your flag, you lose.
-The Flag cannot move and cannot attack / kill anything.
-Spy (S) is a unit allotted 1 to each side. It can kill Marshals if it attacks / is attacked by one.
-Bomb (B) is a unit allotted 6 to each side. It cannot move or attack, but kills any unit that tries to attack it (other than Miners).
-Marshal (1) is a unit allotted 1 to each side. It moves 1 space per turn at maximum. It can kill any unit other than Spies and Bombs. THIS GOES FOR EVERY UNIT: If a unit attacks a unit of the same type, they both die.
-General (2) is a unit allotted 1 to each side. It can S, B, and any # >2.
-Colonel (3) is allotted 2 to each side. Same rules as general, respective number. They are also known for having awesome hats.
-Major (4) 3 per side.
-Captain (5) 4 per side.
-Lieutenant (6) 4 per side.
-Sergeant (7) 4 per side.
-Miner (8) 5 per side. Can kill bombs.
-Scout (9) 8 per side. Can move as many blocks as he wants in any direction.
- -Don't reveal your powerful units too early. Scouts are good in this sense for... scouting.
-When building the Stratego piece again in another tile to "move" it, make sure you build the identification block last so the other player doesn't see.
-Units cannot move diagonally.
-Units cannot move through the lakes in the middle. This makes for annoying obstacles and incredible bottlenecking.
